In the summer of 2023 we traveled to Japan to tour the tea rooms and fields. During our trip we found the best matcha, sencha and gemaicha and brought it back for you!
We started our tea tour in the birthplace of matcha Kyoto where we enjoyed a traditional tea ceremony. In the nearby Uji Province we found our ceremonial grade matcha in tea fields that date back to the 13th century.
Our next stop was Mt Fuji where we visited a family owned and operated farm. In these tea fields we found the freshest sencha and gemaicha.
